[°°] Machaut Messe de Notre Dame Ite missa est / F-Pn 22546

These movies are part of a series of 25 movies where Psallentes sings Machaut’s Ite missa est and Deo gracias from five different sources. In an introductory movie the manuscript page as a whole is on show (2.0). In related movies, each of the four voices can be followed in detail (2.1, 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4). The audio is always the same.

F-Pn 22546 is a fourteenth century manuscript containing poetry and music by Guillaume de Machaut. It also contains a version of Machaut’s Mass. In this Ite missa est, the four voices have been written out on the same page. The staffs with the music to be sung by the motetus are damaged. Consulted via Gallica.
