We have continued our Tenebrae-tour of the Netherlands with performances at Utrecht, Maastricht and Amsterdam. Each of the venues being very different again, the challenge remains to adapt to the circumstances in order to give late medieval chant the proper vocal setting. We have concluded the first series of five concerts at Muziekgebouw ‘t IJ in Amsterdam, simply the best concert hall we have ever seen… Next week: Bloemendaal & Den Bosch – but more on that later.
