Nieuw album Sauvegarde exclusief in Brugge

Ons nieuw album is in het land. Het betreft ‘Sauvegarde’, een ode aan begijnhoven in het algemeen, en aan het Brugse begijnhof in het bijzonder. Kijk eens hoe mooi en schattig de cover is! Kunstwerkje van Hilde Vertommen, ontwerp van Kris Thielemans. En dan heb je het kleinood nog niet eens beluisterd!

In zekere zin is dit de soundtrack bij de gelijknamige film die in première te zien zal zijn op 26 september in de kerk van het begijnhof (die concerten zijn uitverkocht). De fysieke cd komt officieel pas in september uit, maar nu al kan je online een track beluisteren (hier voor YouTube, hier voor Spotify, check ook andere kanalen).

Maar opgelet: de fysieke cd is deze zomer exclusief te koop in De Wijngaard, in het begijnhof van Brugge. Bezoek eerst de mooie expo op andere locaties in het begijnhof, en stap dan de winkel binnen voor een exemplaar van ‘Sauvegarde’. Je krijgt er overigens nog een verrassing bij. Alleen deze zomer, alleen daar in Brugge. Wat een deal!

Lukt een trip naar het Brugse begijnhof niet, en kan je niet op de gewone winkelverkoop wachten, dan is er nog een andere mogelijkheid: zie de voetnoot! Wie intussen al ‘Psallentes centimeter’ is geworden mag de cd deze of volgende week in de bus verwachten – afhankelijk van hoe goed de post werkt!

Our new album has landed!
It’s called Sauvegarde – a tribute to beguinages in general, and to the Bruges beguinage in particular. Just look at that lovely cover! A little work of art by Hilde Vertommen, with design by Kris Thielemans. And that’s even before you’ve heard a single note of this precious gem.

In a way, this is the soundtrack to the film Sauvegarde, which will premiere on 26 September in the church of the Bruges beguinage (those concert screenings are already sold out). The physical CD will officially be released in September, but you can already listen to one of the tracks online (check here for YouTube, here for Spotify – and other platforms too).

But here’s the catch: this summer, the physical CD is exclusively available at De Wijngaard, the shop inside the beguinage of Bruges. First enjoy the beautiful exhibition across several locations in the beguinage, and then drop by the shop to pick up your own copy of Sauvegarde. You’ll even get a small surprise with your purchase. Only this summer, only there in Bruges. What a deal!

Can’t make it to Bruges this summer, and don’t want to wait for regular retail release? There’s another option – see the footnote!
