[ENG] A new site, Antiphonaries.com, is devoted to research into late medieval chant manuscripts. It will hold 600+ movies in which a fifteenth-century antiphonary from Ghent is shown and discussed page by page. Today, a few dozen movies have been posted. Hundreds to go, so keep track of them via Antiphonaries.com. Nice!
Psallentes visited the XVth Miedzynarodowy Festiwal Muzyki Sakralnej at Gdynia, Poland. Nine pictures give a only vague impression of a very nice project, singing wonderful chant at an impressive location in front of a very attentive public. Gdynia, we will return!
April 2012 saw the première of a new production, a co-operation between the ensembles Zefiro Torna and Psallentes. The Tenebrae-tour of the Netherlands has been concluded with two concerts (saturday and sunday) in Bloemendaal (that's to the left of Amsterdam) and 's Hertogenbosch. We have been happy with two very contrasting as well as intimate and abundantly historical settings. A cosy, seventeenth-century Protestant church, and a former synagogue. Wonderful!
